The Nanuqsaurus was a unique species of tyrannosaurid dinosaur that roamed the Earth during the Late Cretaceous period. Its fossils were discovered in northern Alaska, suggesting that this dinosaur lived in polar environments. Interestingly, the Nanuqsaurus was smaller than its famous relative, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, likely an adaptation to its harsh, resource-scarce Arctic habitat.
